Abstract:

“This chapter presents a comprehensive framework for building teacher capacity to effectively integrate Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) into educational settings. It begins by exploring the transformative potential of GenAI, emphasizing its ability to personalize learning, create educational materials, and support teachers. The literature review highlights the impact of GenAI on education and identifies the challenges and needs of teachers in adopting this technology. The proposed framework includes an eight-week course design targeted at K–12 educators, structured around the TPACK framework and social learning theory.”
