Abstract:

“This study evaluates the impact of the INSTALL (inquiry-based, technology-saturated, and flipped learning) model on EFL pre-service teachers’ Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) at three Indonesian universities. Using an explanatory mixed-methods design, the study employed paired-sample t-tests, one-way ANOVA, and thematic analysis on data from 188 pre-service teachers. Quantitative results revealed significant improvements in participants’ TPACK scores following implementation of the INSTALL model. Qualitative findings confirmed that participants responded positively to the model’s integration of inquiry-based learning, technology-rich activities, and flipped classroom structures. The study concludes that the INSTALL model is an effective instructional approach for developing EFL pre-service teachers’ TPACK in Indonesian higher education contexts.”
