The construction of a quick TPACK evaluation tool and comparison of an integrative and transformational model. <em>COUNS-ED: The International Journal of Counseling and Education<\/em>, <em>6<\/em>(2), 44-54. <a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.23916\/0020210635020\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/doi.org\/10.23916\/0020210635020<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Abstract:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;It is well recognized that the model of Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) is one of the most prominent frameworks for describing teachers&#8217; skills to successfully educate students via the use of technology. Self-report questionnaires are often used in TPACK assessment, limiting the measures&#8217; validity, reliability, and practical application.\u00a0 The TPACK\u00a0 framework&#8217;s\u00a0 underlying\u00a0 structure\u00a0 also\u00a0 causes\u00a0 confusion\u00a0 among participants.\u00a0 An integrated or transformational picture of how the TPACK knowledge domains interact was determined by the framework&#8217;s inherent linkages.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Methods and findings: One\u00a0 hundred\u00a0 and\u00a0 seventeen\u00a0 pre-service\u00a0 elementary\u00a0 school\u00a0 teachers\u00a0 were\u00a0 issued\u00a0 a 42-item pilot questionnaire. Reliability analysis and confirmatory factor analysis were used to reduce the\u00a0 number of\u00a0 items\u00a0 on\u00a0 each\u00a0 subscale\u00a0 and\u00a0 to\u00a0 ensure\u00a0 that\u00a0 the\u00a0 model\u00a0 was\u00a0 well-fitting.\u00a0 Structural equation modeling was\u00a0 used\u00a0 to\u00a0 analyze\u00a0 the\u00a0 internal\u00a0 connections\u00a0 that existed between the components. In conclusion, the 28-item final TPAC questionnaire is a feasible and\u00a0 reliable tool for\u00a0 assessing pre-service teachers&#8217; knowledge, skills, and attitudes toward learning\u00a0 (TPACK).\u00a0 The intrinsic links between knowledge components in the TPACK paradigm also allow for a transformational interpretation to be applied.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Susanto, R.
